Hi there, I'm Aaron! I'm a second-year PhD student in Statistics at Oxford University. My research aims to understand and reduce extreme risks to humanity's future arising from the application of AI to the life sciences.

I'm interested in other things too. Here is a poem and a novel I like. In a past life, I wanted to become a moral philosopher. This didn't pan out but led me to sign a pledge to give away 10% of my life-time earnings to effective charities.
